It feels to me that when I began my participation I was holding back on the exploration of my ‘feminine soul’ (Sue Monk Kidd – The Dance of the Dissident Daughter). I needed(without realising it) to experience ritual with other women, ritual connected with nature, sacred ritual that I could (can) rightfully claim as belonging to me. I now have a different and truly enriched lens through which to explore my sacred being. This had begun to gestate with my women’s pilgrimage to Ireland (2019) but now there is a more solid authenticity and a greater depth to my sacred practices.
